A token's price and market cap move together, so the multiple from entry market cap to exit market cap is your gross multiple. Costs eat into it on both sides.
The formula
Net value = stake × (1 − buy fee) × (exit MC ÷ entry MC) × (1 − sell fee) − priority fees. With 1% on each side, a token must rise about 2% just to break even; with tips and bot fees, often 3-5%.
Why market cap beats price
